![]() ![]() I loved the insight and the explanation, it made for a complete read leaving absolutely no gaps in the story. ![]() The actions they took and the awful results. There were a few chapters going back to that time period, which laid out the why and the how it all started. this sets off a chain of events that just captured me wholeheartedly, from disgusting huge spiders, to Zombie wolves, to a a wedge between two powerful sisters because of a mistake or perhaps better, a misunderstanding, 3000 years prior. And oh my was Phoenix in for the shock of her life when she realised WHAT her mates had become. Her mates were trapped somewhere in one of Hell's dimensions, at the mercy of a truly despicable demon who has enslaved them, so, yes, I'd also jump in feet first to rescue them. ![]() ![]() It picks up exactly where the last book ended, except this time we get to see another side of Phoenix, a more petulant side, only in the beginning mind, although, I did understand her dilemma. A different Hell than you would imagine and a very dangerous one too! Except it was Phoenix who actually went, I just clung onto her and experienced it all first hand. My word did the author send me on a spectacular journey, one right into the very bowels of Hell. Oh, sorry, Bug is the sweetest, kindest, most genuinely virtuous, well, bug. There were times I thought I was turning into Bug, my eyes as wide as saucers at the drama and tension. ![]()
